Statement:
While the Venezuela’s political future are in a huracan’s eye, between a hard social and economical crisis, I see back in his history and work with some of importants architectonical symbols of the old projet’s nation.

Some of them was important buildings of social interest, that was part of the renewed modernist projets in caracas around ’40 and ’50. In Fontainebleau I work with celebrates city fountain that was part of importants urbanistics projetcs. In this images, the fountains, originally ornamental waters, are converted in a large water monolithics, that are more important that the surrounding buildings.

I ask about the architectural develop and the fragility of the whish and dreams that impulse it. I try to make fragmets of ideas about a big develop projet of the modernist in Venezuela, that actually is totally corrupted and decadent.

For prepare this serie I worked with old pictures of places of Caracas, that show this building and its fountains when was contructed and new. The original pictures are in the colective imaginery of the venezuelan people. In this, in a digital way, I enlarge the water like a geiser.
